Never been to Oakland, but I've been to San Fran a couple of times, and I can say I really liked your town. Wish I was there instead of Reading, PA!!

Have you checked under your washer & dryer or your refrigerator lately? I thought my cats had a lot of toys in their toy box, but then I discovered the mother load under all the major appliances. Turns out this is a favorite kitty hobby.
My cat patchy LOVES those little felt-like mice. He can play for HOURS with them...until he loses them. One under the sofa, one behind the stove, one under the fridge, and others that go to wherever lost mice go.
